The actor reportedly wants to keep the "winning team", which also includes director Sam Mendes.
Daniel Craig apparently wants Adele to sing the next James Bond theme tune following the success of her track 'Skyfall'.
The 'Rolling In The Deep' star produced one of the most successful Bond themes of all time last year for the film of the same name, and the actor is now reportedly keen on getting back a "winning team" for the next film in the franchise.
"Daniel wants to keep the winning team," a source told the Sunday People. "He loved Adele and wants her back."
Speaking at the premiere of the movie in London's Leicester Square last year, the actor admitted that he was reduced to tears the first time he heard the song.
"I cried. From the opening bars I knew immediately, then the voice kicked in and it was exactly what I'd wanted from the beginning," he said.
Adele has also been rumoured to be making her first appearance since giving birth at the Oscars 2013.
The singer is expected to sing her 'Skyfall' theme during a special segment of the show, paying tribute to 50 years of James Bond.
