The "Shake It Up" actress just became a White House staffer for the Donald Trump adminstration.
If you've been following the news coming out of Donald Trump's White House, you'll know that the administration has had some high profile exits in recent months. One high profile entrant, however, is one person you may recognise if you watched the Disney Channel a few years ago.
Caroline Sunshine appeared alongside Zendaya and Bella Thorne on Disney's Shake It Up, and now she's joining the White House press team. The 22-year-old played Tinka Hessenheffer, a "foreign exchange student" and back up dancer on the Disney sitcom.

If this sounds a bit out of the blue, you might consider that Caroline has been heavily involved in Republican politics in recent years, interning for Representative Kevin McCarthy before landing an internship at the White House.
A spokesperson for the White House, Lindsay Walters, told CNN that "Caroline Sunshine was a White House intern. In college, she was involved with the American Enterprise Institute and an active member of her school's Model United Nations team."
Caroline worked her way up from intern to Press Assistant after joining Trump's White House in its early days.
Okay, well congrats, girl.
