Before Elite, Ander Puig first rose to fame as Joel in 2022 in the Spanish teen drama To Be or Not To Be. The miniseries tells the story of a 16-year-old trans boy who tries to keep his trans identity secret when he joins a new school. Ander received critical acclaim for his performance in the series.
