New emojis are on their way and the pinching hand emoji already has people making small penis jokes.

Its that time of year again, folks. Android and iOS users are getting a ton of new emojis (230 to be precise), which means you'll soon be able to express yourself in more ways than you ever thought possible. One emoji that has people excited is the new pinching hand emoji, which has already sparked people's imaginations and had its fair share of memes.

The pinching hand emoji reminded people of the gesture you make when someone has a small penis and, honestly, they're not wrong.

The Unicode Consortium probably never realised the pinching hand emoji would quickly adopt this meaning but we're thankful it has.

By some, it was dubbed the "small dick energy" emoji.

And the unsolicited dick pic community will almost certainly be left reeling.

Don't send the pic if you can't handle the critique, I suppose.

Some viewed the emoji through a more...wholesome lens.

Besides the pinching hand (aka small dick energy) emoji, loads of other emojis are headed to your phone later this year. More inclusive emojis like an ear with a hearing aid, woman and man in a wheelchair, and deaf person signing will soon be available.
