Dizzee Rascal has revealed that his new album is so far sounding "energetic" and "summery".

The 'Bonkers' star spoke to Capital FM on the red carper of the BRIT Awards 2012 to say that he has been busying working on his latest effort.

Speaking about his past year, he said: "I've been working on my album which is coming out this year," before adding it is sounding "energetic and summery so far."

Last year, Good Charlotte man Benji Madden revealed that he had been in the studio with the British star and said that fans would love the star's new sound.
