4. Where is David Dobrik from?
David was actually born in Košice, Slovakia. His family moved to Illinois when he was six years old. In a GQ interview, David opened up about his Slovakian nationality and how he doesn’t have an American visa, which means he doesn’t have the ability to travel outside of the US: “I can’t leave because I’m protected by DACA and basically I can leave, I can go right now but I can’t come back. I can’t re-enter the country for, like, another 10 years if I leave the country.” [PA Images]
