The former X factor star wants the rapper to help introduce her to an American audience.
Cher Lloyd has revealed she will try and crack America if her music career fails in the UK.
The 'With Ur Love' singer is hoping to team up with rapper Nicki Minaj in her bid to make it in the US.
"You've always got to have your back-up," Cher told The Metro. "I've always said I've wanted to work with Nicki Minaj.
"I've locked it into my head so much that I am going to make it happen."
Cher has tasked X Factor head Simon Cowell to help bring her US plans to fruition and claims she will "push and push" to ensure a collaboration with Nicki Minaj happens in the future.
She previously admitted it would reduce her to tears if she got the opportunity to work on a duet with the 'Fly' rapper.
The 'Swagger Jagger' star released second single 'With Ur Love' last month and launched her debut solo album 'Sticks + Stones' this week.
