The 'Lighting' boy band saw they can't wait to take to the stage for the first night of their US tour tonight.

The Wanted have admitted they are "so excited" about the start of their US tour tonight.

The 'Warzone' singers are due to perform in Orlando, Florida this evening (17th January) as part of a ten-date jaunt across the country.

"Who's coming to hang with us tonight for the first gig of our tour?" The Wanted tweeted earlier today. "Orlando you better get crazy tonight #TWUSAFanmily"

"1st gig of the US tour tonight. So excited," band member Tom Parker also posted. "GYC is building well. Life is good :) x,"

The 'Battleground' singers made their first US TV performance earlier this month (10th January) on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where they sang their Vodafone Big Top 40 number one 'Glad You Come'.

The Wanted's US tour continues throughout January with performances across New York, Chicago and Dallas before wrapping the tour with a performance at The Roxy in Los Angeles on 8th February.
