The Wanted's - Gold Forever

10 February 2011, 08:15

The Wanted's new single 'Gold Forever' has received its first play on Capital FM.

Written by a stellar team of award-winning songwriters, Steve Mac, Wayne Hector and Claude Kelly, this song packs a punch.  'Gold Forever' is a ballad to rave to, combining the boy’s soaring vocals with a clubby, synth bassline.

The song will be out as a digital download on March 13 and in shops the following day.

"This song is about a day in your life that you never forget.  It’s an upbeat, feel good track and our favourite so far.  We’re really excited to get it out there." says Max.

Nathan told Capital FM, "It's awesome, a real party track...we're very excited". The guys are coming to the end of a tour of Germany.

The track will be this year's official Comic Relief song.
