The 'Party Rock Anthem' duo says they enjoy being able to entertain fans on the same scale as some of the biggest pop acts in the world.
LMFAO claim they are now as big as pop icons like Lady Gaga after their breakthrough success in 2011.
The 'Sexy And I Know It' singers scored a Vodafone Big Top 40 number one earlier this year with 'Party Rock Anthem' and say all of their hard work has finally paid off.
"We wanted to be No 1 this year," RedFoo told the Daily Star. "We had been doing LMFAO for three or four years and were big in the clubs but not in the pop world.
"We never experienced being No 1, but always wanted to be mentioned in the same sentence as Michael Jackson, Madonna and Lady Gaga."
He added: "Now with two No 1 [singles] in a row and a killer album that is full of hits we've done it. We know what it feels like to entertain the world like Lady Gaga or Madonna."
LMFAO recently claimed 'Party Rock Anthem' was partly responsible for getting listeners back into dance music as a genre.
'Sorry For The Party Rocking' was recently confirmed as the fourth single to be released from LMFAO's album of the same name.
