The 'Smile' star teams up with producer Greg Kurstin following the birth of her first child.
Lily Allen has revealed that she is currently working on new music.
The 'Smile' star shared the news with her followers on Twitter, saying that she was currently in the studio with producer Greg Kurstin.
Lily's last album 'It's Not Me, It's You', was released in 2009 and the star announced the same year that she was planning to take a break from music to start a family.
"You will be pleased to know that I am currently in the f**king studio with @GregKurstin," Lily wrote on her Twitter page.
In another post, she added: "No big deal really, I'm just throwing s**t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks."
Lily's announcement comes months after it was reported that the star had been writing new songs at a studio in London.
In 2011, Lily Allen married her partner Sam Cooper and the couple welcomed the birth of their first child, Ethel Mary, in November.
