The 'Not Fair' singer is believed to have welcomed a new arrival this week with Sam Cooper.

Lily Allen has reportedly given birth to a daughter with husband Sam Cooper, and the 'Smile' singer took to Twitter this morning (10th January) to thank fans for their well wishes.

The 'Not Fair' singer announced her pregnancy last year and welcomed her second child, a daughter believed to be named Marnie Rose Cooper, on Tuesday (8th January) this week.

"Quite overwhelmed by all the well wishing going on," Lily tweeted this morning, fresh from the announcement of her new arrival. "THANKYOU everybody x x x."

"Marnie's a real cutie," a friend of the star told The Sun this week. "Sam and Lily are ecstatic about adding another girl to the family.

"A little sister for Ethel is brilliant news to lift the January blues for the family."
