The 'She Makes Me Wanna' singer proclaims the pair set the example through their impressive work ethic.
JLS' Marvin Humes has described Rihanna and Lady Gaga's work ethic as "amazing".
Speaking to Popjustice, Marvin admitted that JLS look up to the mega stars because of the amount of music they release.
"They set the example. If you look at Rihanna, how many singles she's had over the last few years, it's amazing. And Gaga, yeah you're right, she's exactly the same," he confessed.
The 'One Shot' singer also revealed that he and his JLS band mates hope to do as much as possible to make the most of their opportunities.
The 'Jukebox' singer added: "We like the work ethic; we want to work as much as possible and do as much as possible, because you only really get one bite of the cherry and we want to make sure we make the most of that opportunity.
Marvin also went on to discuss the ongoing plan to conquer America but revealed it would not be at the expense of their strong UK fanbase.
"We've got a small presence over there but we know that in order to really crack it we have to spend time over there and we don't have time right now. We don't want to lose what we have here," he admitted.
Meanwhile, JLS took to the stage on Saturday's (10th December) X Factor final to perform a duet with One Direction and revealed that not winning the X Factor was the best thing that could have happened to them.
