Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh has revealed how she was reduced to tears on hearing band mate Cheryl Cole had caught malaria.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan Walsh explained;
"Cheryl getting ill... was the toughest time for everybody close to her... It was terrifying, awful and bizarre. When I first saw her after she'd been ill, it was so emotional. I hugged her and I didn't really want to let her go. I was like, 'Sorry, I'm going to have to squeeze you for an hour.'
The singer continued by saying "I was so glad to see she was there in front of me, well. We had a good cry together”.
Girls Aloud recently hinted at 2012 as the year of their reunion however if recent reports that Cheryl’s U.S X Factor spot has been confirmed, we could have to wait that little bit longer to see the girls on stage together again.
