Girls Aloud Announce Greatest Hits Album 'Ten' With Four New Songs

The girl group's new album will support their UK tour, which is set to take place in 2013.

Girls Aloud have announced details of their much-anticipated greatest hits album 'Ten'.

Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Nicole Roberta and Sarah Harding announced details of the new album at a press conference at the Corinthia Hotel in London.

The is a collection of the BRIT award-winning group’s singles over the last ten years as well as four new songs which the girls have worked on over the past year.

'Ten' will be released on 26th November and will be preceded by the single 'Something New' on 18th November.

Speaking at the press conference, Cheryl said: "Do you know what's funny? We were all just getting dressed this morning and it just feels really normal, like nothing's changed. Like we didn't take three years away.

"We always knew were gonna do something. We kind of thought OK let's take a little break. and then it's the anniversary, it's ten years we're gonna do this," Nicola added.

Disc two of the deluxe version of the album will be completely decided by the fans.

The list of songs they can choose from spans the entire Girls Aloud catalogue from album tracks through to b-sides. The vote will go live at 12.30pm on 19th October at girlsaloud.com/ten and will run until 21st October at midnight.

Girls Aloud also announced details of a 2013 UK tour during the press conference.

The reunited group will play twelve dates, starting in Cheryl's hometown of Newcastle on 21st February. Tickets go on sale on Friday 26th October.
