Emeli Sande, Rita Ora And Olly Murs Lead BRIT Awards 2013 Nominations

The list of artists going up for this year's BRITs has been announced.

Emeli Sande leads the nominations for the 2013 BRIT Awards with four, picking up nods in three categories including two for Best British Single with Capital FM.

The Scottish star is up for the Mastercard British Album Of The Year award against the likes of Plan B, Alt-J, Paloma Faith and Mumford & Sons and sees her own single 'Next To Me' up against her Labrinth collaboration 'Beneath Your Beautiful' in the British Single category.

Last year's Critics' Choice Award winner will also try to score the British Female Solo Artist award on the big night.

Elsewhere, Rita Ora will be hoping for a fantastic debut at the ceremony in London next month after scooping three nominations, including British Breakthrough.

The Rolling Stones achieved their first ever nomination at the BRITs for Best Live Act following their recent reunion shows and will face completion form Coldplay, Muse, Mumford & Sons and The Vaccines in the category.

Amy Winehouse could also win a posthumous award after she was named in the British Female Solo Artist category.

Olly Murs will also be hoping to take home his first ever prize at the BRITs 2013 and has the chance in two categories including British Male Solo Artist. 

Taylor Swift will be hoping to take the International Female Solo Artist crown from last year's winner Rihanna and Irish stars The Script get their second ever nod in the International Group category.

Robbie Williams will attempt to extend his record winning haul at London's O2 Arena as well after 'Candy' scooped a nod in the Best British Single with Capital FM category.

The Take That man has also been confirmed to perform on the night as well as Emeli Sande, Muse, One Direction, Mumford & Sons and Ben Howard.

The BRITs 2013 will take place live from London's O2 Arena on 20th February and will be hosted by comedian James Corden.
