Cher Lloyd has defended The X Factor and said it is not a quick route to fame.
The 'With Ur Love' singer, who was a contestant on last year's edition of the TV talent contest, said she didn't like celebrities who criticised the programme.
"What annoys me is when you get other celebs saying that this is the easy route," the 18-year-old told Attitude magazine.
"Because it's not. It's the most nerve-wracking, and your whole life changes immediately."
Cher also revealed in the interview that her Grandma funded her music career in the early days and that she used to perform gigs in the British Legion.
