The Canadian star's track features in the new parody clip featuring the American leader.

US President Barack Obama can be seen singing Carly Rae Jepsen's Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'Call Me Maybe' in a new viral video.

The clip was pieced together with footage from some of the American leader's speeches from the last few years and follows on from the recent video which saw him singing along to LMFAO's 'Sexy And I Know It'.

At the start of the song, President Obama yells: "I love you back," before the song kicks into full flow.

The track has been covered by a variety of stars already this year including 127 Hours actor James Franco, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber with his girlfriend Selena Gomez.
