As we mentioned on Capital Breakfast with Dino & Pete, the Lewis Mighty Fund are releasing a song on July 29th to raise money. The song, "Mighty By Nature" will be available on Amazon and iTunes for download with proceeds going to the fund and Capital are happy to help promote this song.
Lewis sadly lost his fight against his Neuroblastoma in May of this year and the fund set up in his name is aiming to raise money for the ward where he had much of his treatment at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, Ward E38.
You can link to the song on Amazon here. We'll post an iTunes link when it's available. In the meantime, you can listen to the song via YouTube below
Sadly everyday SIX teenagers get diagnosed with cancer and Help A Capital Child has been working with Teenage Cancer Trust to establish specific teenage wards in the East Midlands with the first of these currently being refurbished at the Nottingham City Hospital with another coming soon at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Through the Teenage Cancer Trust, Help A Capital Child also supports a cancer ward at the QMC. Over the last year across the UK, Help A Capital Child has raised over £200,000 towards this brilliant cause and we continue to fund raise and support young people and teenagers in their fight against cancer.
