The reigning king of R&B has been making sweet music with Alexandra Burke in his hometown of Atlanta.

It turns out the US star who's had hits with 'OMG' and 'DJ Got Us Falling In Love' has reportedly been keen to work with Alexandra for some time.

"Usher asked to hear some of her new songs," a source revealed to the Daily Star.

"She was stoked when he gave them the thumbs-up"

Alex recently expressed her wish for an Usher duet and by the sound of it, her dreams could be coming true.

"I want a Duet with Usher..." Alex tweeted. "#ThatIsAll xx"
