The 'International Love' rapper says the Hollywood star is the "blueprint" of what an artist should idolise.
Pitbull has revealed that he is a huge fan of Will Smith and wants to star in a movie with the actor in the future.
The 'Give Me Everything' star has recorded the theme tune to the latest Men In Black sequel and told MTV News that he is impressed to see how well the Fresh Prince has conquered both the music world and Hollywood.
He said: "I think he's the blueprint of what any artist in the music business would look up to and idolise what he's done. As far as not only in the music business, but also in Hollywood, how he's gone from not only one of the best artists musically [to] also one of the best actors, I would say, around the world.
"We're working on the music for the movie, and hopefully, one day, we'll work in a movie together."
The star is currently filming the music video for the song entitled 'Back In Time' which was revealed online earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Pitbull has also teamed up with Jennifer Lopez once again for her new single 'Dance Again' which will be premiered on American Idol on 4th April.
