The rapper has teamed up with the 'Hips Don't Lie' star for his latest track.

Pitbull's collaborative track with Shakira entitled 'Get It Started' has been leaked online.

The song was produced by RedOne and Afrojack and is believed to feature on the rapper's forthcoming new album 'Global Warming' which is expected to be released later this year.

The track opens with the Summertime Ball 2012 star making reference to helping drop the famous ball in New York's Times Square for New Year's eve before the recognisable tones of the Columbia star kick in.

She sings the lines: "Everytime I look into your eyes.  I feel like I could stare in them for a lifetime."

The star makes reference to such stars as Tom Cruise and boxers Manny Pacquiao and Muhammad Ali in the lyrics to the track.

Shakira is also currently preparing to release a new studio album which is expected to be released sometime this year.
