The 'Dance With Me Tonight' singer says the 'A Team' singer is a "topman" and is proud of him for his BRITs wins.

Olly Murs has congratulated Ed Sheeran on his double-win at the BRIT Awards 2012 this week and described the 'Lego House' singer as a "ledge".

The 'Heart Skips A Beat' singer, was nominated for Best British Single at the BRITs this year, told fans he had "loved" performing on the O2 Arena stage on Tuesday (21st February) alongside hip-hop due Rizzle Kicks.

"Thanks for all the tweets tonight peeps!! Loved being at the Brits 2012!" Olly tweeted. "Amazing night well done @edsheeran topman! Deserved both! LEDGE!"

Ed Sheeran was nominated in four categories at the BRITs 2012 and picked up both Best British Breakthrough and Best British Male at the ceremony this week.

Olly added: "PLUS LOVED BLURR!!! 'Parklife' was top notch!! Me mum & dad loved it!! Raving we were!!"

The 'Dance With Me Tonight' singer correctly predicted to Capital FM earlier this week that both Ed Sheeran and Adele would walk away as winners at the BRITs 2012.

Yesterday (22nd February) Olly unveiled a lyric music video for his new single 'Oh My Goodness', and is due to release the full music video on Friday (24th February).

Olly Murs performed his Vodafone Big Top 40 number one 'Heart Skips A Beat' with Rizzle Kicks on Tuesday, after describing it as his "biggest ever" performance.
