The 'Fly' rapper tells Capital she will be using next year to focus on her new projects.
Nicki Minaj has admitted that she plans to work on her own movie and develop on acting career in 2013.
The 'Super Bass' star has been teasing details of an apparent mini-movie for the past few months and told Capital FM that she will focus her time next year on developing the project and her Grammys 2012 set was a preview of what is in store.
She confessed: "Well I've been working on this character Roman and I've been just doing some things - writing like a story and hopefully I'll make it into an actual movie.
"I did a little snippet on the Grammys so that people could get to know the character Roman a little bit more and see how in depth he is.I'm hoping next year I'll be able to focus on the movie stuff and the acting and the books and all that."
The American star also admitted that she is looking forward to showcasing her latest album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' on her upcoming tour as she felt she neglected the touring side around her first release.
"I'm just looking forward to touring an performing for everyone because I put out the first album and I didn't really tour the world and I feel like now I have to get out and do it now or never," she added.
The singer recently wrapped up the filming on her new music video for her latest single 'Starships' and also told Capital that it will be "very saucy" and worth the wait.
