The 'Fly' rapper tells Capital FM that the highly anticipated promo will be worth the wait.
Nicki Minaj has told her fans to expect a "very saucy" music video to her new single 'Starships'.
The 'Your Love' star spoke to Capital FM about progress on the promo and admitted she was frustrated that it isn't ready for her fans just yet.
She confessed: "I'm freaking out because the video is taking way too long. When it comes out it's going to be very very saucy and very exciting and it's going to be lots of fun and probably going to be my best one yet."
The singer revealed that she had a lot of fun filming the video and admitted it compliments the feel good nature of the single.
She added: "Well, I went out to Hawaii and I met a lot of beautiful Hawaiian men that were so amazing – I just didn't want to leave. We shot the video on the beach, we shot the video in the mountains. It was just dope, the scenery was amazing.
"You can expect to feel like, you know what, let's get out the bikinis. Let's go and have a good time. A shout out to everyone on spring break right now. It's just one of those records that feels good and the video compliments that."
Meanwhile, the star is reportedly looking to help teach QI presenter Stephen Fry how to rap after he posted an audio clip of himself singing 'Super Bass' on his Twitter account this week.
