Katy Perry Releases 'The One That Got Away' Acoustic Version

The 'Firework' singer has announced a new stripped down recording of her recent single from second album 'Teenage Dream'.

Katy Perry has released a special acoustic version of her latest single 'The One That Got Away'.

The 'Teenage Dream' singer announce the surprise release on Twitter yesterday (16^th January).

"Special surprise 4U on iTunes!" Katy teased. "The amazing Jon Brion & I put a little ACOUSTIC spin on #the1thatgotaway. Hope you like!"

The 'E.T.' singer was pictured last week for the first time since news broke of her impending divorce from husband Russell Brand sporting a new blue hairdo .

Katy Perry won a total of five awards, including Favourite Female Artist and Favourite Song, at the People's Choice Awards on 11^th January.
