The 'Wide Awake' singer says she learned a lot of lessons from her relationship problems last year.

Katy Perry says she still believes in "love ands marriage" and regrets nothing about her personal life troubles over the past year.

The 'Firework' singer is currently going through a divorce from husband Russell Brand, which is expected to become final this summer, and also revealed she had to quickly learn how to separate her professional and private life.

Katy is currently preparing to launch her 3D concert movie Katy Perry: Part Of Me 3D next month, and says one particular scene shows her getting emotional before a scheduled tour appearance.

"What was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eye sockets and not my false lashes just as I'm about to go up on that ramp and sing 'Teenage Dream'," Katy revealed to The Hollywood Reporter this week. "I had to smack myself across the face and say, 'These problems are my problems, they are not my audience's problems, learn to separate that."

The 'Part Of Me' star also reiterated that despite her split from Russell she has no regrets about their relationship and learned important lessons from the British comedian.

"Absolutely. I still believe in love and marriage," Katy added. "I've just learned lessons along the way. I regret nothing."
