The 'Live It Up' star is said to be tasking the 'Gold Digger' star to work on her next solo outing.

Tulisa Contostavlos is reportedly in talks with Kanye West for the US rapper to have a hand in producing her new solo album.

The 'Young' singer arrived on the music scene with her debut release 'The Female Boss' in December last year, her first album away from N-Dubz, and is said to be hoping to get Kanye involved with the follow-up this year.

"Kanye could give her a hit, which is what she desperately needs," a source told The Sun this week. "Look at what will.i.am did for Britney Spears recently.

"Tulisa is still one of the most famous women in the country and a lot of young girls look up to her, her fan base proves that," they explained. "It's well within her grasp to turn it all around, all it takes is one hit."

The 'Live It Up' singer previously said she was hoping for a more UK-centric sound on her next record, after working with US producers like The Dream on her debut.

Rumours over the past few months have linked Tulisa with leaving her role on The X Factor UK judging panel in favour of the rumoured return of Sharon Osbourne.

Tulisa Contostavlos recently finished supporting Ne-Yo on his UK tour, while Kanye West is currently at work on his sixth studio album.
