Jessie J: I Might Record A Folk Album

Jessie J has revealed that she might record a folk album next.

The 'Price Tag' singer told fans to expect the unexpected when she hits the studio to begin recording the follow-up to her debut album 'Who You Are'.

"I might go in and start writing a folk album," she told Capital FM.

"I've always said music shouldn't be ignorant – I love musical theatre, and I brought elements of that into my first album.

"'Dude It Like A Dude', 'Who You Are', 'Price Tag' if you heard those songs…some people would say, 'You don't know who you are.' But that's what I do."

Jessie added: "I get up and I wear different clothes everyday and music should be a reflection of that, and a reflection of what it is today. Don't ever be ignorant with music; listen to folk, listen to jazz, listen to blues, listen to musical theatre because it's not cheese, it's good."

Jessie J was speaking to Capital FM in Birmingham, where she also debuted a brand new dip-dyed haircut.
