Tributes pour in following news of the soul singer's death.
Jessie J has lead the tributes to soul singer Etta James who passed away today (20th January) at the age of 73.
The 'Who's Laughing Now' star described the singer's voice as "timeless" in a post on her Twitter account.
She tweeted: "Just been told the legend that is Etta James has passed. Thank you for your voice your dedication to us and your gift. Your voice is timeless and will forever live on. I will always look to you for inspiration. R.I.P <3."
Rhanna also took to her Twitter account to leave a message that simply read: "#DearEtta may you rest in piece."
Etta recently featured on Flo Rida's recent Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'Good Feeling' and passed away through complications of leukemia at a hospital in California.
Meanwhile, Jessie recently admitted to Capital FM that she is feeling "excited" about shaving her head and is currently planning which charities she wants to choose for the project.
