The 'Turn Up The Music' star tells fans to stop jumping to "assumptions" following Kanye West track remix.

Chris Brown has taken to Twitter to clarify claims that he dissed his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in a new song.

The track, a remix of Kanye West's 'Way Too Cold', surfaced online earlier this week and sees the singer refer to an "old b***h" in one lyric.

Various gossip websites, including TMZ, reported that the line referred to Rihanna and that the 'We Found Love' star had responded by unfollowing Chris on Twitter.

The 'Turn Up The Music' star took to Twitter on Thursday (10th May) and appeared to deny claims that the song was about his former girlfriend.

He wrote: "Assumptions! I didn't say any names so if u took offense to it then it's something you feel guilty about."

Chris and Rihanna, who split in 2009, reunited earlier this year to record special remixes of each other's songs. RiRi recorded a new verse for Chris' 'Turn Up The Music', while he did the same on her song 'Birthday Cake'.
