The 'Don't Wake Me Up' singer admits he has read the book and could see himself acting in the film adaptation of the adult novel.

Chris Brown has responded to recent claims that he is being lined up for a leading role in the upcoming Fifty Shades Of Grey movie admitting it would be "dope".

The 'Turn Up The Music' singer said he had read the book but thinks certain inaccuracies with his image and the character in the book could cause some upset to fanatics of the adult novel.

" I've read the book. I think it'll be dope. I know the character's white," he told Power 106.

The R&B star continued to state that people's responses would most likely be along the lines of: "Oh my God! That's not true to the book. We hated Hunger Games!"

Leona Lewis backed the singer as an ideal candidate for the role of Christian Grey recently and he was told by the show that they'd heard similar comments from Nicole Scherzinger.

During the interview, the singer was also questioned on his relationship with the former Pussycat Doll, and confessed he had never been romantically involved in any way with her.

"Honestly, I wish I did," he admitted after denying the rumours.

Meanwhile, Chris is also currently preparing to head out on his 'Carpe Diem' European tour this month and is already working on his sixth studio album.
