The 'Beautiful People' singer will be part of a special collaborative Grammys segment spotlighting dance and electronica.

Chris Brown and David Guetta will perform on stage with Foo Fighters, Lil Wayne, and Deadmau5 at the Grammy Awards 2012, it has been announced.

Earlier today it was reported that Chris Brown had joined the all-star line-up for this year's annual awards ceremony, and it has now been confirmed he will join several other artists for a special segment spotlighting dance and electronica music.

The 'Beautiful People' singer has been nominated for three awards at the event, including Best R&B Album and Best Rap Song, while David Guetta is up for Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album.

The announcement follows previous confirmation that Coldplay will perform a duet with Rihanna at this year's Grammys, while Alicia Keys, Bruno Mars and Katy Perry are all expected to perform as well.

Adele will also make her live comeback at the event as her first performance since undergoing throat surgery back in November 2011.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards are due to take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 12th February.
