The diving sensation says he would still love to give Cheryl a lesson in the water sport.
Tom Daley has admitted he is disappointed Cheryl won't' be on the first series of his new reality series Splash! and says he is still hoping that "one day" he will get to give the pop star a diving lesson.
The Team GB bronze medalist launches his own ITV1 series this weekend which will see numerous celebrities, including Omid Djalili, Joey Essex and Jade Ewen being taught by him to dive, but admits 'Call My Name' singer Cheryl won't be part of the line-up.
"I have no idea!" Tom revealed to Capital, when asked about the star's absence from the line-up, in light of their Twitter messages about diving lessons during the London 2012 Olympic Games last summer. "I wasn't involved with actually trying to get people on the show.
"But I am yet to have that diving lesson with Cheryl Cole," Tom teased. "Maybe there will be a day but at the moment, not yet."
