Calvin Harris: "I'm Not The Face Of Dance Music"

The 'We Found Love' producer says his longevity in the genre keeps him one step ahead of the competition.

Calvin Harris has revealed that he no longer sees himself as the face of dance music with more and more acts coming into the frame.

The 'Bounce' DJ, however, confessed that he keeps himself at the forefront of the genre because he has been involved with dance music for so long.

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said:  "I'm not the face of this really, any more but I don't mind that everyone is getting in on the dance act now.

"I just hope you know that I'm one step ahead of it as I made dance music when most of these people hadn't heard of it."

Meanwhile, the Scottish producer recently admitted that his collaborative track with Rihanna, 'We Found Love', is his greatest success and has made more acts want to work with him.
