Beyonce's top award
Beyonce's to receive a top award at the 2011 Billboard Music Awards later this month.
She will receive the Millennium Award in Las Vegas on 22 May to recognise her career achievements.
Rihanna, the Black Eyed Peas, Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, Pitbull and Taio Cruz are all performing at the vent.
The ABC press releases says "One of the most widely recognized and highly respected women in pop culture, Beyoncé was a founding member and front woman of Destiny’s Child, one of the most celebrated female groups in music history. With three chart-topping solo albums, indelible images and a series of visionary videos, she has developed into an iconic artist. She has won numerous accolades and awards, including 16 Grammy Awards and ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year award."
Billboard also named Beyoncé Woman of the Year in October 2009 and Top Female Artist of the Decade in December 2009.
Beyoncé is currently finishing her fourth solo studio album, due for release later this year.
