Beyonce Confirms She's Pulled Out Of Clint Eastwood's Film A Star Is Born

The 'Crazy In Love' singer admits she was looking forward to the chance of working with the Oscar award winning director.

Beyonce has announced that she will no longer be appearing in the Clint Eastwood movie A Star Is Born.

The 'Love On Top' singer revealed that she was disappointed she couldn't feature in film, but her upcoming schedule meant the role couldn't happen. 

"I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," she said in a statement to E! News. "For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible."

She added: "Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together."

Speaking at the premiere of his most recent film, The Trouble With The Curve, the 'Million Dollar Baby' director admitted that casting for the male lead is also unconfirmed and will take place in 2013. 

"We've talked to several people, and we probably won't address that one till next year," he said.

Meanwhile, Bey has also leant her vocal talents to a character in the new animated film Epic which also features Colin Farrell and Christopher Waltz.
