The 'Someone Like You' singer admits she is still too young to be familiar with all the Bond classics.

Adele has described Daniel Craig as an "edgy" James Bond following her success at the Golden Globes with the latest film's title song 'Skyfall'.

The track was named Best Original Song at the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday (13th January).

Speaking following her triumph in Hollywood, Adele admitted that at 24 she was still too young to be familiar with the Bond franchise, but was a fan of the more recent films.

"My first Bond film that I watched was actually a Pierce Brosnan Bond because I am only 24 so I don't go back to the classics," Adele said.

"It was the one where he was on the speedboat on the Thames. And then Daniel Craig, who is so edgy and he turned the vibe around."

'Skyfall' was the only song Adele released in 2012 following the birth of her first child, a boy whose name has not yet been released to the public.

The star has yet to confirm when she plans to make her full time return to music, but she is thought to currently be working on a new album – the follow-up to the critically acclaimed and global smash hit '21'.
