The viral optical illusion is leaving people on TikTok and Twitter mystified as they try to work out how to do the hand trick.
TikTok has given the internet dozens of viral dances, trends, challenges, and, well, Lil Nas X. It's the gift that keeps on giving. A new challenge involves one TikTok user's viral "hand trick" and it has the internet absolutely mystified.
People are trying their hardest to figure out how one TikTok user performs the mesmerising optical illusion and their attempts are almost as good as the original video.

TikTok user @toripareno showed off an optical illusion which makes it look as though one of her hands is going through the other.

"My hands we're viewed half a million times. creepy but cool," she later joked.
For reference, the song in the video is the intro to 'Bounce' by Timbaland feat. Missy Elliott, Justin Timberlake, and Dr. Dre.
While the hand trick looks like it would be fairly easy to pull off, people definitely had to practice the fast hand movements to get it right.

Speed is definitely your friend when it comes to pulling the trick off so grab a mirror and get practising.
