Shane Dawson says he asked to be removed from Kat Von D's PR list

Kat Von D famously fell out with Shane's best friend Jeffree Star in 2016.

Shane Dawson surprised us all and dropped the deleted scenes from "The Beautiful World of Jeffree Star" on his new ShaneGlossin YouTube channel. The YouTuber shared a sneak peak on his Instagram Story last week (14 Jan) but no-one expected over 36 minutes of unreleased footage.

In the video, which was uploaded on Tuesday (21 Jan), Shane showed footage of a terrifying break-in, snippets from the Jaclyn Hill "hairy" lipstick drama and he briefly dipped his toe into the mess that was Dramageddon, involving James Charles and Tati Westbrook. But what was most interesting was his stance on controversial tattooist turned beauty guru, Kat Von D.

Around 14 minutes into the video, Shane receives his first official press box from Rihanna's makeup brand Fenty Beauty worth $1237. He then told his videographer Andrew Siwicki and fiancé Ryland Adams that he was on the PR lists of "15 different companies" because of his new-found beauty career.

However, one of those brands was Kat Von D's makeup line Kat Von D Beauty, which has been recently renamed KvD Vegan Beauty, after she cut ties with her own company to focus on other projects.

"They put me on Kat Von D's list, and I had to tell them to take me off," Shane said, before grimacing at the camera. Ryland's sister, Morgan Adams, then entered the conversation and complimented one of Kat's products. She said: "I use her foundation…it's pretty good." Shane then replied: "Get out of my house."

Further into the video, Shane and Jeffree start discussing Shane's "iconic" pig logo, which is plastered all over his merch. Andrew said that it would be even more iconic if Shane had it tattooed on him.

"No honestly, what if we got Kat Von D to do it?" Jeffree suggested, which led Shane and Andrew to burst into laughter. "She needs work. She has a baby now – she needs work." I-

It's safe to say there's still bad blood between former friends Kat and Jeffree, and Shane has clearly taken his side. In case you didn't know, Jeffree and Kat were BFFs for 10 years and Kat even had a lipstick named after him.

However, back in 2016, Kat publicly ended their friendship and accused him of "drug use, racism, and bullying" as well as not paying one of her friends for design work, which he denied. Jeffree then clapped back with a whole YouTube video.
