Kylie and her sisters responded to a fake photo of a Travis Scott lookalike framed as a "social experiment".
The Kardashian-Jenner clan has reacted to a stunt by YouTuber ChristianAdamG who has admitted to staging a "fake Travis Scott cheating photo" in order to see whether the internet would believe it.
In a video titled "We Fooled the Internet w/Fake Travis Scott Cheating Photo" the YouTuber admits to the stunt saying "the goal of this video is not to hurt anybody's relationship. But it's to see how gullible is the internet."
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have been together for over a year and have a daughter, Stormi, born in February 2018.
ChristianAdamG says he was influenced by a recent Yes Theory prank where a "Justin Bieber" lookalike was snapped eating a burrito sideways.
"I dressed up as Travis Scott from head to toe. I posed for a fake paparazzi photo," he explains in the video.
A photo of the fake "Travis Scott" circulated online, causing Travis himself to respond to the image of the lookalike with a woman on a balcony.
"Only got love for my wife. No time to be wasting. Try again," Travis wrote in response to the photo. Travis is currently on tour and Kylie and Stormi have been present at many of his shows. The two also reportedly bought their first home together this year.
Kylie's sisters took to social media to condemn the prank, calling it "disgusting" and "damaging".
I hate that I am bringing attention to this but this is absolutely disgusting that you would find this funny to mess with Travis & Kylie who just started a family together. This is really damaging to relationships, families and is just so wrong! pic.twitter.com/KtodBpmiHR

People are absolutely disgusting! The mind games this would do to somebody… That is so completely not OK! This person should be so ashamed of themselves! What filth

In a now deleted Instagram Story, Kylie also reportedly responded to the prank. "Idk if this is really a social experiment to some people but you're messing with real people, real relationships, real family," she wrote. "I'm happy my relationship is strong because this is getting out of hand. The internet scares me sometimes for real."
A recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians depicted the family's reactions during Khloe and Tristan Thompson's own alleged cheating saga. This does not appear to be an issue the family would take lightly at this point.
There are, of course, other ways to conduct a "social experiment" without putting real families through something like this.
