Even the Pope isn't safe from becoming a meme.
The internet has this unique ability to turn just about any scenario into a meme. Case in point, the Fatima memes inspired by the UK government's tone-deaf Rethink Reskill Reboot campaign, or the snowflake emoji memes that blew up after Quavo revealed his first DM to Saweetie. Well, now there's a new meme on the block and it's all thanks to Pope Francis.
The meme is pretty simple yet effective. Four different images of the Pope are all pieced together to make one large image. Three of the frames fit together to show Pope Francis with his eyes closed and arms raised in the air to show something.
Originally, Pope Francis was holding bread during communion, which represents the body of Jesus Christ. However, people are now replacing that with anything remotely hilarious. From that Spiderman kissing scene to the iconic Baby Yoda, here's some of the best Pope Francis memes.

So I found the original image used in that Pope meme, and -- unsurprisingly -- he's holding the most holy item of all in it. #N64 pic.twitter.com/sqVqQkZ63h
