Nollywood (a portmanteau of the Nigeria and Hollywood) is the nickname of Nigeria's booming film industry. Known mainly for their overly dramatic comedies and dramas, the industry is rapidly changing and expanding genres. Nollywood is now reportedly Nigeria's second largest employer after agriculture and is worth around $50 billion, according to Eye Witness News.
