As RiRi turns 24, we take at look at the 'We Found Love' singers best moments since she smashed onto the music scene back in 2005 with her first single 'Pon de Replay'.
A fresh-faced 16 year-old Rihanna was discovered in Barbados by record executive Evans Rogers and was quickly noticed by Jay-Z who wasted no time in signing her up to a contract at his label Def Jam.
Rihanna scored her first hit in 2005 with the release of her debut single 'Pon de Replay', which peaked at number two on both the US and UK singles charts.
The young singer then released her debut studio album 'Music Of The Sun', which has since sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
Less than eight months after arriving with her debut 'Music Of The Sun' Rihanna stormed back into the charts with her second record 'A Girl Like Me'.
Rihanna's second album 'A Girl Like Me' proved even more successful with the release of singles 'S.O.S.' and 'Unfaithful'. RiRi's 'S.O.S.' also earned the singer her first US number one when it topped the US Billboard Hot 100.
Rihanna picked up the awards for Best R&B Act at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards where she also performed her hit single 'S.O.S'.
2007 saw Rihanna debut a brand new look as well as releasing her third studio album 'Good Girl Gone Bad', which spawned a string of hugely successful singles including 'Umbrella', 'Shut Up And Drive', 'Don't Stop The Music', 'Rehab' and 'Don't Stop The Music'.
Rihanna was riding high on the success of her Jay-Z collaboration 'Umbrella' during the MTV Video Music Awards where she picked up nods for both Video of the Year and Monster Single of the Year.

Rihanna took some time out from her mammoth 'Loud' world tour to headline the first night of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball in December 2011. Rihanna had another successful appearance at the Grammy Awards in 2012 when she picked up two awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The 'Talk That Talk' star picked up Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Rap Song Of The Year for her Kanye West collaboration 'All Of The Lights'.
RiRi also took to the stage at the 2012 Grammys where she performed her Big Top 40 hit 'We Found Love' before being joined by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin for a rendition of their recent collaboration 'Princess Of China'.
