Rihanna snubbed by Chase & Status

Rihanna may be currently ruling charts around the world but Chase & Status have revealed how they snubbed her on their new album.

The UK dance duo have worked with Ri-Ri on her previous albums however when it came to their own release hey wanted it to be a thoroughly British affair.

Talking to the Daily Star the duo explained;

“There was talk about working with Rihanna and other names linked to Roc Nation but we weren’t tempted. We wanted the album to showcase fresh and cutting-edge UK talent.”

“We’re known for working with new artists such as Plan B and that’s what really excites us.

Chase & Status release new album ‘No More Idols’ next week.
