Pink: "I Turned Down The X Factor, The Voice And American Idol Judging Roles"

The 'Who Knew' singer admits people would have "hated" her even more if she signed up for a reality show.

Pink has confessed that she has turned down offers to become a judge on music reality shows American Idol, The X Factor and The Voice.

The 'Funhouse' star told the Herald Sun In Australia that she neglected a role on any of the shows because she feared people would "hate" her.

"I was offered The Voice in Australia plus American Idol and The X Factor," she admitted. "I said no because you can't be honest. People will hate you if you're honest.

"Simon Cowell is the only person who gets away with it because he's got an accent. And he's a man."

She added that she also wouldn't have wanted to upset any of the contestants feelings.

"People would just hate me more than they already do," she continued. "I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings."

American Idol recently replaced departed judge Jennifer Lopez with superstar Mariah Carey and are currently still looking for someone to take over from Aerosmith's Steven Tyler.

Nick Jonas confirmed that he has been in talks for the role with the likes of Adam Lambert, Will.i.am and Charlie Sheen all been linked with a role on the next series.

Meanwhile, Pink is preparing to release her 6th studio album 'The Truth About Love' and new single 'Blow Me (One Last Kiss)' will be available to download on 2nd September.

She also recently confirmed that she record a collaboration with Eminem which will feature on the album.
