One Direction have signed a US record deal in a bid to try and break America.
Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam and Zayn have joined Columbia Records, which is home to the likes of Adele and David Bowie.
Earlier this week, Band member Louis Tomlinson confirmed that the boys were set to embark on a US tour in the coming months.
“Obviously, we haven’t really done that much promotion over in the States so it’s going to be interesting to see where we stand," he said.
According to The Sun, One Direction will tour America in February and March next year.
Confirmation of their deal with Columbia comes in the same week that the band released their debut album 'Up All Night'.
The record features the single 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'Gotta Be You'.
