One Direction Thank Fans For 'Up All Night' Chart Success

The five-piece boy band have thanked fans for getting their album to second place on the UK Album Chart.

One Direction have thanked fans for helping them score one of the fastest-selling debut album's of the year this past weekend.

The 'Gotta Be You' singers released their debut album 'Up All Night' last week (21st November) which entered the UK Album Chart in second place behind Rihanna's 'Talk That Talk'.

"WOW! Just found out that 'Up All Night' is the biggest debut album of the year!" Niall Horan tweeted earlier today (28th November). "We owe this all to you guys! Once again, thank you!"

"Hey. So  happy with the album, no 2 so many of you bought it and once again you guys are amazing we love the album and we hope you do too: )" Liam Payne also posted.

One Direction made a guest appearance on The X Factor last night alongside JLS for the finalists' performance of charity single 'Wishing On A Star'.
