The boy band star has reunited with the 'Obviously' four-piece to write a brand new song.
One Direction star Niall Horan has revealed he has been writing new music with McFly this week.
The 'Love Is Easy' four-piece posted on Twitter yesterday (6th February) saying they have been writing an "awesome" song with the boy band star, who is in the midst of preparing for One Direction's new world tour.
"Wrote an awesome song today with @NiallOfficial @DannyMcfly and @DougieMcfly," McFly singer Tom Fletcher posted, while Danny Jones added: "Awesome song coming along with @NiallOfficial @TomMcfly @DougieMcFly."
McFly and One Direction previously collaborated together in summer 2012 on a song called 'I Would', which made it on to the track listing for the 'Live While We're Young' singers' second studio album 'Take Me Home'.

Meanwhile, it was recently confirmed that One Direction will perform their new charity single, a cover of Blondie's 'One Way Or Another', at the BRIT Awards 2013 later this month (23rd February).
One Direction kick off their 117-date world tour with a performance at London's O2 Arena on 23rd February.
