The 'Live While We're Young' singer speaks about the band's chances at this year's event.

One Direction star Niall Horan has confessed that the band are very much looking forward to heading to the BRIT Awards 2013 tonight (20th February).

The 'What Makes You Beautiful' stars are up for British Group at the industry event and will also be taking to the stage for a performance of their new single 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)'.

"We can't wait," the Irish star revealed to Capital FM. "It was absolutely incredible last year so it's great to be nominated again this year, so fingers crossed and hopefully we'll win."

The band scooped Best British Single With Capital FM in 2012 and Niall admitted he can't wait to see some of the other acts on the line-up backstage at London's O2 Arena.

"It's going to be great – there's some amazing bands and artists there nominated tonight so it should be a good turnout," he added.

Other performers on the line-up include country star Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake.
